G'day Ian,
Just a final email to thank you and your team at Geezers for all your help with the V-Rod.
My Father just contacted me and said the bike had been delivered in perfect order and shining like a new pin.
Thanks again for the great service.
Cheers,
Graham.
Just to let you know the bike arrived on wednesday and I got it registered on friday with no problems so therefore spent the weekend out and about with great enjoyment.
I would like to take the chance to thank you and Greg for all the help that you give to get the bike here and also Dennis who picked it up and the service from the blokes at east west transport was excellent. I will be sure to let anyone who is looking to import stuff to come to you guys first.
Until next time : )
Paul Rankin.

Thank you again with everything.
Regards
Barney Codsy.
I cant recommend Geezers services too highly if you have a motorcycle or a car you wish to import.
I understand there are other importers out there who also do a good job, but I imagine my personal experience with Geezers would be hard to beat.

Hi Greg and Ian this is a short thank you note for making my task of importing my boat heaps easier than I thought it would be . Heaps of people told me I was crazy buying a boat this way but thanks to you guys it has been trouble free and I would not hesitate to recommend it as an option if buying a boat . Being able to just drive down to the Gold Coast and pick up the boat and trailer already registered was another bonus so once again thanks heaps .
Cheers Dave Sheehan
You make it so easy!!

Just wanted to say how very impressed I was with Geezers personal import service.
Geezers made the process very smooth and transparent and their staff were helpful at every stage of my import.
The costs were very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to use Geezers services again or recommend them to others.
Thanks again for your assistance.
Kind Regards,
Jayson
From day one you have given nothing but great service. The time frame was correct, professionalize and information was second to none.
You took care of everything from door to door and made the process easy to understand and follow.
The online tracking kept me up to date with the bikes progress and how long to go before I received my bike.
Thanks again.

Greg and your Team ,
Just wanted to say thanks for all your help in getting my 1970 Rebel Machine in from the USA .
You and your team where always there with information and guidance through this process .
All the best for the new year to you all and your families .
Best Regards ,
Sonny and Annie Soper .
I would like to thank you for importing my 1970 Chevy Nova. I had be dreading the importation of the car after speaking to a couple of other importers. While speaking to a friend of mine who has imported a car with you, he heartily recommended you. I must say that I have to agree with his recommendation after my recent experience with yourselves. It was imported quickly and without hassel. I was kept informed at all stages and was pleasently surprised at the reasonable cost of the service you provided.
Great service mate and a good price.
Andrew Suckling.
Hi Ian
I received my chev today very happy, thank you again for your professional service.
Joe Panzarino.

Emma Connors
HarleyDavidson
is the latest
business to feel the heat from
online sales as motorcycle
enthusiasts import directly.
Amanda Paton calculates she
saved between $5000 and $7000
by buying a 2010 Softail Deluxe
motorbike in Wytheville, Virginia,
from her home in Mackay,
Queensland, via the internet.
“I’m extremely happy,”
Ms Paton said. “It’s a beautiful
bike and a dream to ride.”
There were some drawbacks. It
was five months from the sale to
the first ride – “I would do it again
but I’d have to tranquillise myself’’
– and then there was the impact it
had on Ms Paton’s relationship
with the Harley dealer in Mackay.
“I wasn’t too popular,” she said.
HarleyDavidson’s
Australian
dealership and distribution
network is the oldest outside the
US, dating back to 1917. Now it is
under strain.
HarleyDavidson
Australia says
it is still relatively rare to do as
Ms Paton has done, with most
customers preferring the comfort
of a twoyear
warranty that comes
with a new motorcycle. Privately,
though, dealerships confess the
strong dollar is not good news for
their business.
Ms Paton said that, after a
“hearttoheart
chat”, she had
managed to stay on good terms
with her local dealer. “He
understands my situation and
I understand his,” she added.
But buying a motorcycle is not
the same as ordering a pair of
shoes online.
Only secondhand
Harleys built
after 1989 can be imported and
they have to be modified by a
certified engineer to comply with
Australian road standards. It is a
long process and that doesn’t
always suit Harley fans, said Greg
Leahy from Geezers Classic
Garage, a Gold Coast business that
imports motorcycles for customers
on the east coast and as far away
as Kununurra in WA.
Geezers is tracking about 100
Harleys that are on their way from
the US. “Importing direct is very
popular,” Mr Leahy said.
“When the dollar sinks back to
US60¢ everyone will be trundling
back to their local Harley dealer.”
Meanwhile, HarleyDavidson
is
sticking to its policy of annual
pricing reviews while passing on
extras such as bigger, fuelinjected
engines free to local
customers through the dealership
network.
